If you love to work with kids...and you love the water, then check out these job opportunities from our Aquatics department. Blue Valley Recreation is looking for qualified instructors and lifeguards for our year-round schedule. We offer a flexible schedule with daytime, evening and weekend hours.

 If you have previous experience, check out the positions below:

LIFEGUARDS
Our lifeguards are some of the best in the area, winning the Lawrence Lifeguard Games competition two consecutive years.
Must attend monthly training sessions
Must be a certified Lifeguard through a reputable training agency (American Red Cross preferred)
Prefer current CPR/AED/First Aid certified, but will provide training if needed

LEARN TO SWIM INSTRUCTORS
Previous experience teaching kids required
Prefer certified Water Safety Instructor (WSI), but will certify those with previous experience
Prefer CPR/First Aid certified, but will provide training if needed
Must possess the ability to communicate with adults and children
