Jodi Hanna was the winner of a home entertainment center, thanks to her contribution to the Blue Valley Rec Chevy Youth Baseball Fundraiser. The money raised will help build practice fields for Blue Valley Rec's Youth Baseball/Softball Leagues.

Hanna received a Panasonic 42-inch flat screen television and a Blu-Ray disc player with her winning ticket. The program, which provided chances to win a car and a home entertainment package ended June 30.

Each $10 donation was an opportunity to win. In addition to the regional prizes, Blue Valley Rec also offered goodies. Jill Sailer won a Coleman Deck Chair w/table; Jon Ogren won a Coleman Steel Belted Cooler; Sara Lancaster won a Coleman Electronic Radio Cooler; and Mike O'Connell won the David DeJesus autographed bat.

David Hatton of Ada, Okla. was the grand prize winner and has his choice of a 2010 Chevy Equinox or Malibu. Hatton's ticket was from Service Auto Mall/Kiwanis Little Leauge of Ada.

Blue Valley Rec raised enough money to start work on practice fields at local elementary schools. Staff is currently working with Blue Valley School District officials for exact locations and timelines.
