Coaches
Coaching the Girls on the Run program is the most rewarding way to get involved with Girls on the Run. You will experience the program first hand, feel a sense of accomplishment that you have made a difference in the lives of the girls and have a ton of fun with your team of coaches and incredible girls! Coaches must be 21 or older for lead coaches, and at least 18 for assistant coaches to facilitate the Girls on the Run curriculum to girls grades 3-8. This position works closely with the GOTR staff and involves approximately 4 hours per week with additional weekend time required for coach training; end of season 5k race event; and First Aid/CPR training, if necessary.
