Classes Taught: Body Bootcamp, Strength and Stretch
Certifications Held: American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Personal Trainer
Class Expectations: My classes focus on heart rate zone training. I aim to get your heart rate to 80% or above for as long as possible and I attempt to do so with resistance training. I encourage teamwork and an atmoshpere of encouragement. You'll work harder than you thought possible, but attain results faster than you ever expected.
Favorite Workout: Deadlift, Hang Clean, Overhead Squat, Ergometer
Go-to Protein/Snack: Muscle Pharm cookies and cream
Relaxation Time: I enjoy hiking with my dog, playing guitar, backpacking, camping, cooking, and rock climbing. I take my border collie Murphy with me wherever it is legal. He's my right hand man in every way.
Favorite Color: Blue because it’s peaceful but also passionate
Favorite Quote: We judge ourselves by what we feel capable of doing while others judge us by what we have done.
Ideal Day Friend: JFK to disucss his book "Profiles in Courage"
I am a teach first, a trainer second. I want you to understand the "why" behind what I ask of you. It's easy to just make you tired and sore, but I want you to learn to the point that you no longer need me, eventually. That is how I know I've been effective.
