TAKE Self Defense for Women
Females ages 12 and up
A living legacy in honor of 19-year-old Leawood resident, Ali Kemp, who was murdered in 2002 while working at a residential area pool. The TAKE Foundation raises awareness and gives women the self-protection skills needed to avoid becoming the victim of a violent crime. Learn basic techniques that could save your life by thwarting an attack.
Pre-registration is required. Offered in partnership with the Ali Kemp Educational Foundation in cooperation with JCPRD and Leawood Parks and Rec.
