Volunteer Opportunities

January and February, 2012 - High school and older volunteers needed for our Special Olympics basketball program; Tuesday evenings; 6:30-8:30pm.
 
May 19, 2012 - Dance Recital Backstage Assistants - Supervise and assist costumed dancers as they wait backstage.  Location - BV Northwest High School.  To volunteer online, click on "Online Registration" and use one of the following codes. 
353000-01 - 10:30-1230pm
353000-02 - 1-3pm
353000-03 - 3:30-5:30pm
353000-04 - All Day

All volunteers must have a background check on file with Blue Valley Recreation prior to volunteering. This paperwork should be submitted at least two weeks prior to the activity date. Download the forms here : Background & Disclosure Statement.

EARN DISCOUNTS ON BVRC CLASSES!
Adult volunteers (19 & over) who volunteer a minimum of 2 hours will receive either $20 off a future program or a priority registration to be used the next season. Each additional volunteer hour equals $10 off any Blue Valley Rec class or event.

Students (18 & under) will earn National Honor Society or Community Service Hours for helping at a Blue Valley Rec class or event.
