About Our Volunteer Program
Whether you are looking to get involved with the community or needing volunteer hours for school programs, we are the place for you.

Volunteers are eligible to receive community service hours (usually students) or a priority registration.  Students are typically between the ages of 14 and 18 (depending upon the event).  If younger than 14, the parent may assist.  A priority registration allows a volunteer to register for a class before others, which helps the volunteers secure a class desired date/time. A minimum of two hours is required to receive a priority registration.

Because all volunteers must go through a background check, we accept vounteers only after they have spoken with our volunteer coordinator or a program coordinator about a specific activity for which they would like to volunteer.  To speak with our volunteer coordinator, call Jeni at 685-6014.  Upcoming opportunities to volunteer are listed above.

Thank you for your interest in being a volunteer for Blue Valley Recreation!
