Observation
Meanwhile, we kindly ask that parents, guardians, and siblings view the class from the gymnastics lobby. If your child feels unsure about joining class, we encourage parents to assist initially—with the goal of independent participation in the weeks ahead.
safety first
We encourage your child to wear something they feel comfortable enough in to run around, flip, go up-side down, etc. This could be a leotard or athletic clothing (preferably nothing too baggy or overbearing). In addition, we encourage your child’s hair to be pulled out of their face if it is below their shoulders.
misc
Your child does not need to bring anything specific for class, but water bottles are highly encouraged. Most kids set them inside the gym doors for when we break for water. We also have a water fountain in the lobby available for use.
