Before you can register for an activity or class at Blue Valley Rec you will need to create an account. We use the Amilia SmartRec software for all our registrations. Follow all the steps below to set up your account and get you ready to find your fun in Overland Park.
Step 1
Create your Amilia Account
On a computer, laptop, or browser on your mobile phone, visit the Amilia Log In Page and click on “Don’t have an account? Sign up” at the bottom of the graphic.
Step 2
Enter your Information
Complete all the fields listed and click on the “Create account” button in the blue box. (If the email you entered already has an account tied to it, you will get an error message letting you know.)
Step 3
Verify Email Address
- After you request an account, a validation page will appear.
- Check the email address you submitted for the account for a validation code.
- Enter that code on the validation page.
- Your newly created account will appear.
Step 4
Customize Your Account
- Your newly created account will appear in your browser.
- Click on the drop down arrow in the upper right corner and select “My Account”
- From the gray navigational area on the left side, select “Members” to yourself to your account.
- Click on “Add person” to add family members to your account.
- From the gray navigational area on the left side, select “Wallet” to attach a credit card for activity registrations to your account.
Step 5
Connect Blue Valley Rec
- To connect your account to Blue Valley Rec, click on “Find a Store” and search for Blue Valley Recreation Commission.
- Click on our name and attach this storefront to your account.
You can also download the Amilia App to stay connected to Blue Valley Rec with easily accessible information. You can use the app quickly check your activity schedule, access your account member profiles, change your payment preferences, and scan in at our Rec Facility (if you are a member).
