Create an Account with Us
Before you can register for an activity or class at Blue Valley Rec, you’ll first need to create an account. To streamline the process, we use Amilia SmartRec for all our registrations. Next, follow the steps below to set up your account—then you’ll be ready to find your fun in Overland Park!
Step 1
Create your Amilia Account
- First, open a browser on your computer, laptop, or mobile phone.
- Then, visit the Amilia Log In Page.
- Next, click on “Don’t have an account? Sign up” located at the bottom of the graphic.
Step 2
Enter your Information
- Next, complete all the required fields and then click the “Create account” button in the blue box.
- If the email you entered is already associated with an existing account, you’ll receive an error message notifying you.
Step 3
Verify Email Address
- After you request an account, a validation page will appear.
- Then, check the email address you submitted for a message containing your validation code.
- Once you receive it, enter the code on the validation page.
- Finally, your newly created account will appear.
Step 4
Customize Your Account
- Once your newly created account appears in your browser, click the drop-down arrow in the upper right corner and select “My Account.”
- Next, from the gray navigation menu on the left side, choose “Members” to add yourself to your account.
- Then, click on “Add person” to include any additional family members.
- After that, return to the gray navigation menu and select “Wallet” to attach a credit card for future activity registrations.
Step 5
Connect Blue Valley Rec
- To connect your account to Blue Valley Rec, click on “Find a Store” and search for Blue Valley Recreation Commission.
- Click on our name and attach this storefront to your account.
Step 6
Download the App
The Amilia mobile app provides quick and convenient access to your most important Blue Valley Rec activity information. While you can’t register for programs directly through the app, it still offers several helpful features. For example, you can easily check your activity schedule, view account member profiles, and scan into the Rec Center @ Hilltop. As a result, staying on top of your activities has never been easier!
