Thanks to our climate-controlled indoor walking and running track in Overland Park, you can stay active regardless of the weather outside. In addition, the track is specifically designed to support joint-friendly movement in a clean and comfortable environment. Best of all, access is reserved exclusively for Rec Center members. To make it even more convenient, we offer daily, monthly, and annual membership options to suit your schedule and lifestyle.

Each corner has additional stretching and strengthening equipment.

Stretching mats are conveniently placed in all four corners of the track, allowing you to warm up, cool down, or take a break to stretch whenever you need. Add Strength Training
Take your walking workout to the next level on our indoor track, where fitness meets flexibility. In addition to a smooth, climate-controlled path for walking or jogging, you’ll find dumbbells and light cardio equipment placed around the track. This setup allows you to easily mix in strength training and cardio intervals as you go. Whether you’re building endurance or adding variety to your routine, our track offers a convenient, all-in-one fitness experience.

Features and Guidelines
- To help you stay on pace, one lap around the indoor walk/run track measures 754 feet.
- Completing 7 laps equals one mile.
- DynaForce Running Track Flooring offers both support and durability, making it ideal for athletes of all levels.
- For balanced usage, the direction of the track changes daily so please pay attention to the signs.
- Slower walkers should use the inside lanes, while faster traffic are encouraged to use outside lanes.
- Lastly, a Rec Center membership is required to access the track.
Age-Specific Areas
- Age 15 and under MUST supervised by an adult (18+) while using the track
- Age 14-15 may complete a fitness orientation and use track unsupervised
- Ratio of (1) adult to (2) children ages 15 and under on the track
