1st Floor

• Play basketball, volleyball, and pickleball on 8 courts with Taraflex sports flooring
• Train in our dedicated fitness rooms
• Challenge friends to a game of table tennis

2nd Floor

• Work out on our fitness floor featuring strength machines, cardio equipment, free weights, and a stretching area
• Walk or run on our indoor track (7 laps = 1 mile)
• Store your belongings in day-use lockers while you exercise

Member for a Day

If you’re not already a Rec Center member, you can still enjoy everything we offer by purchasing a Day Pass membership. In fact, your Day Pass is valid only on the day of purchase and exclusively at the Rec Center. It grants access to the fitness floor, indoor walk/run track, fitness classes, and open courts. However, please keep in mind that we do not offer refunds for Day Passes.

Account members

A Family membership includes two adults (ages 18 and older) and up to four youth living in the same household. Specifically, we define youth as anyone 17 or younger—or someone 18 or older who is still in high school and resides in the household. Once a child graduates from high school, we then consider them an adult. At that point, you can add them to your membership as either an Individual Adult member or a Plus 1 Adult member.

Yes

You can make changes to a membership; however, we do charge a $10 fee for all membership changes. To begin the process, contact our front desk or membership services team with your requested updates. Then, they will guide you through the necessary steps—whether you’re adding or removing a member, updating household details, or switching membership types. After the changes are processed, you’ll receive confirmation for your records.

Annual Membership

We set annual memberships to expire at the end of the specified term. Therefore, we do not offer refunds or allow early cancellations. However, if you add someone to your existing membership during the annual term, we begin their membership on the date they are added. As a result, their membership will run for a new 12-month period starting from that date.

Monthly Membership

We deduct your monthly payment on the 1st of each month. However, if the 1st falls on a holiday or weekend, we may process the payment on the next business day instead. Additionally, you must complete at least one full billing cycle before you can cancel a monthly membership.

Short-Term Membership

We set short-term memberships to expire at the end of the specified term. Consequently, we do not offer refunds or allow early cancellations.

Guest Fee

We encourage members to bring non-members with them to the facility. However, we do not offer free guest privileges. Instead, all guests are required to pay the $10 Daily Visit fee.

Yes

The Rec Center partners with select health insurance plans to offer memberships. As a result, if you’re eligible, you can receive a membership to our facility at no additional cost. To learn more or to sign up, simply give us a call or stop by in person.

Take Shelter

Yes, the Rec Center does provide a tornado shelter on the first floor. Specifically, this shelter is engineered to withstand winds of up to 250 mph, offering a safe and secure space during severe weather events. During a Tornado Watch, the facility remains open and activities continue as scheduled. However, once a Tornado Warning is issued, all activities are immediately postponed or canceled for safety.

Monday–Friday: 5:30AM – 9:00PM
Saturday–Sunday: 7:00AM – 6:00PM

Access Granted

To access the facility, you must either have a valid membership or purchase a Day Pass. However, parents attending youth sports games may enter for free as spectators. In this case, they are allowed access to the game court only.

Age Guidelines for Facility Use

Fitness Floor

• We do not allow children 11 and under on the fitness floor.
• Youth ages 12–15 may use the fitness equipment with adult (18+) supervision.
• Teens ages 14–15 may work out unsupervised after completing a fitness orientation.

Indoor Track

• Youth ages 15 and under must stay within 10 feet of an adult (18+) while using the track.
• Teens ages 14–15 may use the track unsupervised after completing a fitness orientation.

Courts

• Youth ages 10 and up may use the courts without adult supervision.
• Children ages 9 and under must stay with an adult (16+) while on the courts.

Fitness Classes

• Participants must be 16 or older to join a fitness class on their own.
• Youth ages 12–15 may join with adult supervision.
• Teens ages 14–15 may participate unsupervised after completing a fitness orientation.

Facility Dress Code

To help maintain a safe and respectful environment, please follow these facility guidelines:

• First, always wear a shirt while inside the facility.
• Additionally, be sure to keep sports bras and undergarments fully covered at all times.
• To protect our fitness equipment, wear pants without buttons, jewels, or metal.
• Finally, use non-marking, closed-toed athletic shoes when on the courts, fitness floor, and track.

At this time, we are not offering rentals at the Rec Center. However, we encourage you to check back regularly, as availability may change in the future.

Free Lockers

You can use our lockers free of charge. However, we recommend bringing your own lock for added security. Additionally, you must remove your lock and belongings by the end of the day. If any items are left in a locker overnight, we will remove them and place them in Lost and Found.

Open Court

Patrons may request to lower one goal; however, this depends on overall facility usage at the time. If we approve the request and lower a goal, a parent or guardian must remain present while the child plays.

Individualized Instruction

You may coach or give instruction during open court times, as long as you do not monopolize the courts. However, patrons may not reserve or hold a court for practices, coaching, or training. Additionally, you may use props—provided they do not create a safety risk or interfere with the experience of other patrons.

We post an open court calendar on our website that outlines all scheduled activities. Once the schedule is posted, patrons rely on it and expect us to hold those activities as listed. Therefore, we only make changes when necessary—specifically, to add more space for existing activities on the same day. For example, we may add courts for basketball or pickleball to accommodate high demand.

Age Restrictions

Youth ages 10 and up may use the courts independently, without an adult present. However, children ages 9 and under must remain under the supervision of an adult age 16 or older while on the courts. In addition, accompanying adults must either hold a valid membership or purchase a Day Pass to access the facility.

Orientation

All members are welcome to request a fitness orientation. During this session, you’ll receive a simple overview of the equipment as well as our facility policies. As a result, you’ll feel more confident and prepared to make the most of your workouts.

Youth ages 12–15 may participate in fitness classes, provided they are under adult supervision. In contrast, individuals ages 16 and up are allowed to attend classes independently.

To reserve your spot in fitness classes, visit our online registration site. Before registering, be sure you have an account and are signed in to ensure a smooth process.

Instructions

First, scan in to enter the facility. Then, notify your fitness instructor that you’ve arrived for class. After that, provide your name so the instructor can accurately record your attendance.

Group Fitness Class Cancellation Policy

To avoid penalties, cancel your class reservation at least 60 minutes before the class begins. Otherwise, you’ll be subject to our 3-step warning policy:

• First, for the initial offense, we’ll issue a written warning.
• Next, after a second offense, you’ll lose the ability to reserve a spot in any class for one week.
• Finally, if a third offense occurs, you’ll lose reservation privileges for one month.

Age 12 and up

To participate in personal training, you must be at least 12 years old. Additionally, youth ages 12–15 must remain within arm’s length of their trainer at all times during sessions. At the first session—which includes the initial assessment—a parent must be present. However, the parent does not need to stay for future sessions. Once training ends, if the child wishes to remain on the fitness floor, the parent must return and stay within arm’s length for the duration of their visit.

Set Packages

No, you cannot split Personal Training packages. Instead, each package applies to one individual only and must be used exclusively by that person.
