Enjoy quality time outdoors with friends and family at one of our covered shelters. While you relax and celebrate, please note that other activities may be taking place within the Sports Complex during your rental. Additionally, we do allow outside food and non-alcoholic beverages to make your gathering even more convenient.

Conveniently located by Fields 2-4.
Plus, there’s a playground for kids to enjoy.
Thankfully, restrooms are close by.
Rental times are in 2-hour increments

Sand Volleyball Court Rental

Plan your next staff or team outing at our gated sand volleyball area in Overland Park! To start, the private space offers a fun and active atmosphere. Then, as your group plays and connects, it becomes the perfect setting for team bonding and relaxation.

It features three sand courts.
Additionally, there’s a convenient foot washing station.
For comfort, a shaded shelter area is available.
Rental times are in half-day and full-day increments.
It’s located at the north end of Fields 18-25.

Hitting Tunnel Rentals

Step into the newest place to improve your game at Blue Valley Rec! Located inside the Sports Complex between fields 5 and 8, our five baseball and softball hitting tunnels offer the perfect space to sharpen your skills. Be sure to read the rules posted onsite to ensure a safe and productive experience.

Tunnels can be rented individually or as a group.
Additionally, rental times are available in 60-minute increments.
Rentals take place in the evenings when youth teams are not playing on Fields 5-12.

Indoor Pool Rentals

Make a splash with our indoor pool rental—perfect for 5th grade graduations, team parties, fundraisers, and more! First, enjoy a fun and weather-proof setting. Then, take advantage of a spacious pool area ideal for celebrating, swimming, and making memories.

Enjoy the current of the Lazy River.
The fun begins with water features and fun floaties.
For your convenience, locker rooms and lockers available.
Plus, there’s a water basketball goal.
In addition, life jackets available for use.
For safety, lifeguards are on duty at all times.
Rental times are in 2-hour increments.

Gymnastics Center Rentals

Host your next event at our gymnastics center—the perfect rental for 5th grade graduations, team parties, fundraisers, and more! First, enjoy a unique space filled with fun equipment. Then, let kids jump, tumble, and celebrate in an active, supervised environment.

Enjoy private rentals, so your group is the only one in the gymnastics center.
Plus, we can accommodate groups of up to 30 people.
To make the experience even better, a gymnastics coach is included.
For your convenience, restrooms and drinking fountain are located inside the gymnastics center.
There’s a comfortable viewing area.

Classroom rentals at the Activity Center are ideal for small to medium-sized groups. First, enjoy a quiet, professional setting. Then, take advantage of flexible layouts perfect for meetings, workshops, or group activities. Plus, outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed to make your gathering even more convenient.

Rental times are in 60-minute increments.
Tables and chairs are included.
The space accommodates groups ranging from 20 up to 40 people.

About Us

Guidelines

Refunds will be granted based on notice given; however, Blue Valley Rec reserves the right to charge a processing fee for refunds.
Furthermore, in the event of inclement weather or an event beyond the reasonable control of Blue Valley Rec, a reservation may be cancelled and a refund will be issued.
Each rental has its own cancellation policy, so please make sure to read your contract carefully.

POLICY

Blue Valley Rec and its partners reserve the right to use all photographs and video footage of participants for promotional purposes. Specifically, this includes materials used in print, digital media, advertisements, and social media promotions. Moreover, drone footage is also included under this policy.

Waiver

In addition, by participating in our programs or events, individuals acknowledge and accept the potential use of their image for marketing purposes. As a result, these visuals help us showcase the energy and excitement of our leagues and activities across various platforms.
