Weather Cancellations and Facility Closings

To stay updated on activity cancellations and facility closings due to inclement weather or other important developments, be sure to check our latest notifications. Before each game, we determine which heat zone will apply. Once decided, umpires inform both teams of the designated zone. However, because we make this decision shortly before game time, we are unable to post the heat zone information on our website.

During Tornado Watches, when conditions are favorable for a tornado, our facilities and activities remain open. In contrast, we cancel activities and close facilities during a Tornado Warning, which indicates that a confirmed tornado has been spotted in the area. As always, please use your best judgment and make the decision that is safest for your family.
