Birthday Parties have never been so fun…or easy! You provide refreshments, decorations and the kids…we’ll provide the activity and a classroom for the party! Choose from a pool party, gymnastics party, princess party, or science party.
At Blue Valley Rec, we’re passionate about providing affordable recreation for every member of our community. Whether you want to try something new or prefer your favorite exercise, our Activity Center in Overland Park has it all!
The Blue Valley Rec Activity Center is located east of Metcalf on 151st Street in Overland Park. The entrance to the parking lot can be accessed g lot of the Activity Center.
Thanks to a local Eagle Scout, Blue Valley rec as a Book Box (or Lending Library) on site. Feel free to donate any appropriate books you might have and/or borrow any you would like to see. The Book Box is located on the southwest side of the parking lot by the outdoor playground.
Blue Valley Recreation and its partners reserve the right to use all photographs and video of participants for promotional purposes, including print, digital, advertisements, and social media promotions. This includes drone footage.
Blue Valley Rec provides reasonable assistance to participants upon request. An Assistance Request Form must be submitted prior to the start of the activity/class.

I can’t express enough how wonderful this place is and their staff! We were looking for somewhere that focused on the basics and especially safety when doing gymnastics for our 4 and 2 year old. We got so much more out of our gymnastics class than we ever expected! The gymnastic classes are well run, the staff is incredible!

Incredible staff. We had a “Mad Scientist” birthday party for our kindergartner and the kids loved it. The space was clean, easy to set up the decorations in, easy to tear down afterwards. The kids LOVED the magic and science that “Hyperspace Hannah” showed them. Definitely a great place to host a birthday party. The price for having a birthday party here was also incredible compared to other venues. The staff is helpful if you need them, but don’t linger. We’ll definitely be coming back.
