Reach Your Goals

To take charge of your health, start by staying active with support from Blue Valley Rec. We offer personal training packages in Overland Park designed to help you move confidently, no matter your age or fitness level. With a fun and encouraging environment, our certified trainers are here to guide you every step of the way. Additionally, personal training packages are not included with a Rec Center membership and are available as a separate purchase. Best of all, you don’t need a membership to get started!

Personal Training Offerings

Enhance Your Workout

In addition to our wide variety of fitness classes, Blue Valley Rec also offers personal training sessions in Overland Park to help you take your fitness to the next level. Whether you’re looking for one-on-one attention or prefer training with a partner, our certified personal trainers offer both individual and semi-private sessions. As a result, you’ll receive personalized guidance in a supportive and motivating environment tailored to your goals.

Personal Training Assessment

  • Ages 16 and up (12-15 accompanied by an adult)

Start Strong with Your Initial Personal Training Session

To kick things off, your first 30-minute session includes completing necessary paperwork and a movement screening to assess how your body moves. Next, we’ll perform an InBody Scan to better understand your current fitness level. Then, we’ll talk through your goals and begin building a personalized workout plan designed just for you.

Individual Session

  • Ages 16 and up (12-15 accompanied by an adult)

Choose the Training Package That Fits You Best

To support your fitness journey, we offer flexible options to meet your needs. You can choose a single personal training session or select from multi-session packages of 4, 8, or 12 sessions. This way, you can train at your own pace and stay on track toward your goals.

Semi-Private Sessions

  • Ages 16 and up (12-15 accompanied by an adult)

Train Together

For a more social and supportive experience, we offer single and multi-session packages (4, 8, or 12 sessions) for groups of two people. This way, you can work toward your fitness goals while enjoying the motivation and encouragement of a friend. It’s a fun and effective way to stay active together.

InBody Scans

  • Ages 16 and up

Track Your Progress with Body Composition Testing

In addition to personal training, we offer comprehensive body composition assessments to help you set realistic goals and measure your progress accurately. To do this, we use the InBody testing method, which relies on bioelectrical impedance. Unlike a standard scale, this test measures your body composition—comparing lean mass to fat mass—so you get a clearer picture of your overall health and fitness.
