Blue Valley Rec offers this fast-paced sport for players who like action. From youth leagues in Overland Park to quality camps and clinics, each player progresses at their own rate while enjoying the experience of being a teammate.

Youth volleyball leagues and camps
The benefits from the sport of volleyball are endless. From physical benefits to social benefits to mental benefits to character-building, volleyball with Blue Valley Rec is a rewarding experience. We are committed to adhering to high standards for coaches and parents in their position as a role model to our youth.

Spring Youth Volleyball (March - May)
- Grades 2 to 8
Open to all girls in grades 2-8 during the 2024-25 academic year.

Summer Sand Volleyball (May - July)
- Grades 4 to 12
Open to all players in grades 4-12 during the 2024-25 academic year. We are committed to adhering to high standards for coaches and parents in their position as a role model to our youth. This league is team registration only.

Fall Youth Volleyball (August - October)
- Grades 2 to 7
Open to all girls grades 2nd – 7th during the 2024-25 academic school year.

Youth Volleyball Camps
- Grades 2 to 7
Up your game with our camps and clinics focused on fundamentals and skill enhancement.

Tournaments
- Grades 4 to 7
The preseason volleyball tournament is available for grades 4-7 that played in the Blue Valley Rec league. There will be two divisions per grade if enrollment allows with a three-match guarantee.

Supports in areas requiring programming recommendations and administrative review. Composed of an odd number of members, with a minimum of three with three year terms.
- Conducts interviews and selecting coaches.
- Deliberates and acts on formal protests.
- Reviews rules, policies, post-season evaluations and surveys.
- Recommends changes for consideration by staff.
- Reviews and recommends action on special requests from parents/player concerning team changes.
- Conducts hearings on “incidents,” as defined by the Official Rules and Policies Handbook currently in effect for the particular program, and recommends appropriate actions.
