We offer summer camps in Overland Park that spark curiosity and creativity across a wide range of interests. From the start, campers are encouraged to explore new ideas, try new activities, and discover what excites them most.
Our sports camps are designed to help kids learn and grow through play in a fun, supportive environment.
Birthday parties have never been so fun or so easy! All you need to do is bring the refreshments, decorations, and excited kiddos. Meanwhile, we’ll take care of the rest so you can relax and enjoy the celebration.
The fast-paced game is a great way to improve coordination while staying social. At the same time, it gets your heart rate up without high-impact movement.
We offer a free 18-hole disc golf course that features an engaging combination of wooded terrain, rolling hills, and long open shots. Along the way, players experience a variety of challenges that keep every round fun and rewarding.

Learn More About Blue Valley Rec
When Blue Valley citizens in 1986 noticed a shortage of recreational opportunities in their community, they took action, and Blue Valley Rec was born. From the very beginning, our recreation center in Overland Park served the community members of the Blue Valley School District, and that mission drives all our programs and activities.
At Blue Valley Rec, we take our role as a recreation provider seriously. Our staff and commission are committed to serving the Blue Valley community with care and integrity. Above all, we believe everyone deserves access to clean, safe, and fun places to play.
We serve you through the combined efforts of our commissioners, committee members, paid staff, and thousands of volunteers. Together, these dedicated members of our community step up to support for their friends, neighbors, and coworkers. Because of their commitment, our commission exists through their support.
The Blue Valley Recreation Commission is a board comprised of 7 members that meets once a month.
