Our scheduled fitness classes include yoga, strength training, dance fitness, and Les Mills classes. Best of all, all scheduled fitness classes are included with your Rec Center membership, making it easy to stay motivated and consistent.
Take care of your health by staying active at Blue Valley Rec. To support that goal, we offer personal training packages to get movingxcno matter your current fitness level. Please note, personal training packages are available for an additional fee and are not included with a Rec Center membership.
Work out on one of our many cardio machines, tone up with free weights, or complete a circuit training session. The Rec Center has everything you need to meet your health and wellness goals. Additionally, access to the fitness floor is included with your membership.
Get your walking or running done no matter the weather on our 1/7-mile, climate-controlled indoor track. With three spacious lanes and dedicated stretching corners, you can stay comfortable and focused while keeping your routine on track year-round.
Join the wave of pickleball players enjoying the latest paddle-sport craze. As part of your experience, Open Court pickleball time is included with your Rec Center membership. However, pickleball lessons and leagues are offered for an additional charge and are not included with membership.
Stay informed by getting the latest dates and times for Open Court for basketball and pickleball. Additionally, all Open Court sessions are included with your Rec Center membership, making it easy to plan your play time.
Level up your game with private basketball sessions. Whether you train one-on-one, semi-privately with two people, or in a small group of three to six, each option offers focused instruction. Along the way, our coaches tailor every session to your goals, helping you build skills and confidence faster.

Rec Center @ Hilltop Details
Blue Valley Rec Center at Hilltop, our community and fitness center in Overland Park, is located off 147th Street between Metcalf and Antioch. The facility sits behind the Blue Valley School District Hilltop Learning Center and has two entrances.
POLICY
Blue Valley Rec and its partners reserve the right to use all photographs and video footage of participants for promotional purposes. Specifically, this includes materials used in print, digital media, advertisements, and social media promotions. Moreover, drone footage is also included under this policy.
Waiver
In addition, by participating in our programs or events, individuals acknowledge and accept the potential use of their image for marketing purposes. As a result, these visuals help us showcase the energy and excitement of our leagues and activities across various platforms.
To help us keep the Rec Center safe and clean, we have a few important rules and guidelines in place. Before your visit, we ask that you familiarize yourself with them by reviewing the handbook.
Members age 16 and up may participate in fitness classes. Meanwhile, those age 12–15 may join a class with adult supervision. Additionally, teens age 14–15 may participate independently after completing a fitness orientation.
Those age 10 and up may be on the courts without an adult. However, children age 9 and under must be supervised by an adult (16+) while on the courts.
FITNESS FLOOR
First, children age 11 and under are not allowed on the fitness floor. Next, those age 12–15 must be supervised by an adult (18+) while using fitness equipment. Finally, teens age 14–15 may complete a fitness orientation and, once approved, work out without supervision.
TRACK
Members age 15 and under must remain within 10 feet of an adult (18+) while on the track. However, teens age 14–15 may complete a fitness orientation and then use the track without supervision.
Memberships are non-refundable; therefore, early cancellations are not permitted. However, exceptions may be granted in cases of relocation or qualifying medical circumstances.
