At Blue Valley Rec, we believe baseball should be both fun and instructional—especially for young players. That’s why we offer a Fall Youth Baseball League that creates a safe, team-oriented environment where kids in grades K–8 can enjoy the game while building skills and confidence. As the go-to spot for youth baseball in Overland Park, we provide age-appropriate instruction, promote teamwork, and ensure plenty of playtime for every participant.
We organize our league into grade-specific divisions based on the upcoming fall academic year. Although we only accept team registrations, individual players can still join the action by adding their name to our Free Agent List, which helps coaches find players to complete their rosters. Additionally, be sure to submit one check made payable to BVRC for the total amount due—or be ready to make one credit card payment. Please note, we do not accept individual payments.
We designed the league to grow with each player. Kindergarteners start with coach-pitch baseball, grades 1–2 advance to machine-pitch, and grades 3–8 play player-pitch baseball. No matter the level, every game helps players develop skills, demonstrate sportsmanship, and deepen their love for the sport.
